I’ve been the lucky photographer to photograph this family for almost two years. We first met when M was pregnant with little L for a maternity session. She had the cutest little baby bump. I then got to photograph little L as a newborn, 6 month milestone, and then at the age of 1. I love seeing them every time and to see how much they have grown as a family. Isn’t mom gorgeous? This time of day for photo sessions is just magical! How cute are they??? I cannot wait to meet the new baby!

Traditionally, we have been doing a cake smash when our newborns turn 1. This was a cake smash session from this summer that I haven’t blogged yet. I’ve been neglecting my blog this year!!! I had to post this cutie though! Who doesn’t love cake?
Can you believe he’s one already? I probably say that every time I see my clients at their one-year sessions. BUT, it’s true! Little B has grown up so quickly this year! I met up with his family the other day for B’s one-year session and a cake smash. Isn’t he the cutest little thing ever? The bow tie just pushes the cuteness factor beyond bearable! I have a weak spot for bow ties!

Have I mentioned yet that I love the fall? This year has been awesome for good sustainable color. I’ve been photographing this family for the past couple of years. It’s so good to see them again and see how much they’ve all grown!
I will always remember the day I met my friend Shalice. We were at the park with our children and she struck up a conversation with me about life with twins. We’ve been friends ever since. Hers are 6 months older than ours and it was nice to see a preview of how ours will be in six months. I love how she’s always there for me. I am thankful for that day in the park. If you know her and her family, you know that they are funny, sweet, generous, and compassionate. I am very lucky to be able to capture these images for them. They are such a loving family.
Look who’s one! I love it when I get to see my newborns again. Don’t you just love these curls? This little man had his running shoes on for our session. I guess he knew I needed the exercise.
I think he was about done with me at this point.
We ended things with a little cake smash. I think all was forgiven once cake came into the picture.
