I had the pleasure of meeting these expectant parents this week for a maternity session. They are such a genuinely nice couple and so full of joy. M was just beaming the entire time and lit up even more when her husband met us after work.
My clients are always so concerned about “posing” and I just tell them to be themselves. These photographs are about YOU and your personalities. There is no way I could have posed this one! You can just tell how much they mean to each other.

It’s time to start thinking about the holiday season and specifically those holiday cards! It may seem hot right now, but soon the temperatures will start to drop and the leaves will start to change. Most families use fall photos for their holiday cards and gifts. This year, for the first time, Paper Lantern Photography will be offering Holiday Mini Sessions. Mini Sessions are perfect for families who want to update their family photographs without the need for a full session. There are currently only five spots, so be sure to reserve your spot so you will not end up on the waiting list. Tell your family and friends to book their sessions too.

Meet Sarah Marie. She’s my senior rep for Peachtree Ridge HS. We shot these in the middle of a hot spell a few weeks ago in the middle of the day. Whew. This is her first round of senior pics. We will be choosing a different location and definitely a later time slot! These are some of my faves:

I couldn’t wait a month to show you another product… so technically this is a print. This is actually how your 11×14 and larger prints will come: mounted on a substrate called styrene and coated with a UV protection. These do not need to be framed, but can be displayed on an easel. Of course you can still choose to frame them. Stay tuned for more products…
